Dreadzone features ex-Big Audio Dynamite members Greg Dread and Leo Williams plus legendary reggae vocalist Earl 16, the unmistakable MC Spee, Chris Compton on guitar with Chris Oldfield taking care of the laptop and DJ side of the live setup.

The band fuse technology with human rhythms colliding dub bass with dance beats, live guitar and bubbling electronics, all united by energetic MCing and sweet reggae vocals. The band have released six artist albums to date, one of which was cited by John Peel as one of his top ten of all time, toured their inimitable live show the world over and even found time to squeeze in a top 20 hit in the form of Little Britain. Their latest studio album – Eye On The Horizon – is out on 26th April!

A welcome return for the defenders of bass! Dreadzone are back with their new album ‘Eye on the Horizon’ and as usual they draw fast and shoot straight to the heart of the matter: music to move your mind and your feet.” Don Letts, Culture Clash Radio, BBC 6 Music
